Volunteer
Volunteering is a great way to meet your neighbours, learn new skills, improve your wellbeing and support your park. We offer regular sessions with our community gardeners, a seasonal scheme to help with litter picking over the busy summer months, as well as one-off volunteering opportunities at events and the chance to sit on our board. Find out more about volunteering at Myatt’s Fields. |
Donate The park is managed by a local charity, Myatt’s Fields Park Project, in partnership with Lambeth Council. We work hard to generate sustainable income for the park. Please support us by donating online here. If you’d like to discuss making a larger gift to the park, please contact Sara on [email protected] |
Corporates If you’re looking for your next team challenge or away day, find out more about corporate volunteering in Myatt’s Fields Park here or you can hire our meeting room for up to 12 people, more details here. If you’re interested in sponsoring a project, donating a larger gift or offering pro-bono support please contact Sara on [email protected] |
Learning
Myatt’s Fields is an inspiring place to learn. We are a Natural Thinkers site, supporting schools and other educational groups to learn and play in nature and we work with local schools to provide space for concerts, sports activities, volunteering opportunities and support for growing projects. Find out more here. We also host Scandinavian-style Mulberry Outdoor Preschool, and playgroups and workshops, from bird walks to African drumming, featured in our events programme. Hire our facilities and spaces
Alongside our community activities, we also hire some of our spaces and facilities, with all fees going straight back into Myatt's Fields Park Project, the charity for the park, to help us grow a green and healthy neighbourhood. Book our football pitch or tennis courts here, see all our available spaces for hire or find out more about getting married in the park. |
Use the park! Since it opened to the public in 1889, Myatt’s Fields has always been enjoyed by local people, young and old, whatever their interest and background. Whether you want to have a kick about, walk the dog, enjoy a coffee, explore nature or simply take some time to sit and relax in the quiet garden, there is something for you here. Go to our visit page to find out more. |
